Join artist exhibitor Liam Biswell for a mixed media workshop creating your own graffiti-style canvas composed of layered up designs in a range of mixed media: ink, marker pen, paint and collage. Experiment with striking colour and rich contrast.

Come and make your own unique Thumby Bug from polymer clay - a fun, tactile and brightly coloured material to experiment and create with. Also known as ‘fidget stones’ and ‘pocket hugs’, Thumby Bugs are wonderfully soothing sensory toys. Led by keepsake artist Jen Maslin from Mads and Moodle.

Uncover the joy and endless creative possibilities of recycling with artist Cate Wise. Children will make a selection of reusable gift bags, greetings cards and Easter chocolate holders from beautiful salvaged craft materials and interesting papers. Cate is an exhibitor, and you will also find her in this year’s Marketplace.

Hand sculpt a clay creature of your own imagination with ceramicist and pottery teacher Anna Hayward. We will be using air-drying clay for this workshop, so all pieces can be taken home at the end and painted once dry.

Art on the Hill exhibitor Liam Biswell will guide you through the etching and printing process, finishing with their very own animal print to take home. Bring your own animal picture on A6 from home to work from – a beloved pet perhaps – or choose from a selection of images provided.
